Meet The Tribe

Megan Dashley, President & Founder

A former cosmetologist turned entrepreneur whose journey into animal rescue began while volunteering at a local shelter. Using her social media platform, she amplified the voices of shelter dogs, helping them find loving forever homes.

During her time in the shelter, Megan developed a deep passion for canine behavior, the transformative power of playgroups, and advocating for the “underdogs” often overlooked. Today, she devotes her energy to fundraising, advocacy, and connecting dogs with the second chances they deserve.

Carrie Keller, Board Member

Carrie is a lifelong rescue advocate whose dogs have always found their way to her—often when she least expected it. She’s deeply passionate about responsible pet ownership and firmly believes that spaying, neutering, and vaccinating are essential steps in ending the shelter crisis.

With over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, Carrie brings invaluable expertise to the board. She’s the founder of Piper’s Pantry, serves on the advisory board for the Spoil 'Em Rotten Foundation, and is a dedicated volunteer at Second Chance Dog Ranch.

Amanda Pence-Funk, Board Member

Amanda is deeply committed to animal welfare-especially bulldogs. She shares her home with three beloved rescue French Bulldogs, one mini bulldog and a very active Husky mix. She actively supports rescue efforts in her community. She brings over 18 years of experience in finance, beginning her career in banking with a focus on extensive lending before advancing to her current role.

Her blend of financial acumen, deep lending expertise, entrepreneurial insight, and compassionate advocacy makes her a dedicated and dynamic addition to the board.
